The Great White Shark is one of the most beautiful saltwater fish that grace South Africa's oceans. In South Africa it is against the law to target or catch the Great White Shark, which is also known as the White Shark and the Blue Pointer in Australia. After strict angling regulations have been placed on Great White Shark fishing in South Africa their populations have started to rise again which is a good thing as the Great Whites are one of the most important fish species in South Africa's fish food chain... The images and photos below were given to me by my cousin Adrian who used to work in Gansbaai as a Shark diving charter and Great White Shark researcher. They are great pictures and you can see what amazing fish the Great Whites actually are.
