South African Moggel Photo's & Pictures

The Moggel is a fish species that is almost endemic to South Africa and one that can attain 50 centimeters in length. They mainly occur in rivers and streams where they hide in the slower moving water or behind rapids in pools. They have been known to interbreed with the Orange River Mudfish in still water systems.
