South African Rainbow (Surge) Wrasse Photo's & Pictures
The Rainbow Wrasse (Also known as the Surge Wrasse) is one of the most colourful and beautiful saltwater fish species that occur in South Africa. They occur in warm water reefs and can be caught from the shore on small prawn and squid baits. The Rainbow Wrasse can grow to a weight of almost 2 kilograms, these specimens are mainly caught over deeper rocky reefs by ski boat anglers.
