South African Three Spot Barb Pictures & Photographs
The Three Spot Barb is probably the most common of South Africa's freshwater Barb fish species and can be tricked into taking a small plastic lure or a fly. It is a striking fish and although the Three Spot Barb does not grow very big it is a great fish just to look at once you have landed it. They are very aggressive and will hit small flies such as nymphs and buzzers very hard and the plastic lures that work the best for them are paddletails. Below are some images of the Three Spot barb:
