South African Striped Mullet Photographs & Pictures
The Striped Mullet is the most commonly caught mullet fish species on rod and reel. They are very strong fish and the South African record is over 3 kilograms. The Striped Mullet, unlike others, is found normally by itself or in small shoals. The Striped Mullet can jump out of the water up to 2 meters and is also the fastest swimmer in the family Mugilidae.
